From Reine: Northern Lights Chasing

Join our small-group Northern Lights chase from Reine, guided by a local who knows exactly where to look for clear skies and the best chances to spot the aurora.

We’ll pick you up from your accommodation in the Reine area (anywhere between Å and Hamnøy) and head out toward the northern coast of Lofoten — the perfect spot for wide, open views of the night sky. Since the weather in Lofoten can change quickly from one valley to the next, we’ll keep things flexible and go where the forecast looks most promising.

Throughout the evening, your guide will share stories about life above the Arctic Circle and help you understand how the Northern Lights work — from solar flares to how your camera sees more colors than your eyes. You’ll also get tips on how to photograph the aurora yourself, and of course, we’ll take professional photos of you under the Arctic sky so you can fully enjoy the moment.

Even if the Northern Lights decide to take a night off, we’ll make sure you have a memorable evening exploring quiet beaches, frozen lakes, and starry skies far away from the crowds and city lights.
