SUP Adventure at Svinøya

The SUP Adventure at Svinøya is all about experiencing Lofoten from a completely different angle, quietly, calmly, and right at water level.

This guided 2-hour stand-up paddleboarding adventure takes place in the sheltered harbour area of Svolvær, weaving between the small islands, docks, and waterways that make up this historic fishing harbour. Launching from Svinøya, we explore calm waters that are perfectly suited for SUP, even if it’s your first time on a board.

As we paddle, you’ll get a unique perspective of rorbuer, boats, sea life, and surrounding mountains rising straight out of the sea. It’s peaceful, surprisingly meditative, and a brilliant way to connect with the landscape without rushing anywhere. Wildlife sightings are always a possibility too, seabirds, fish below the board, and the occasional curious seal keeping an eye on us.

The tour is run at a relaxed pace with plenty of time for photos, short breaks, and simply enjoying the surroundings. Instruction is provided along the way, so no previous SUP experience is required. If you can stand, kneel, or sit on a board and smile, you’re qualified.
